I’m Connor. I live in Frankfurt, where I contemplate and build the future.

I always lived inside of my own head where I would try to understand the world around me and what the future might look like. I have noticed that the patterns that emerge can usually be explained by biology. Some see things like blockchain and artificial intelligence simply as a new innovation, however, I view them as natural progressions of evolution on this planet.

Since I was about 16 I wanted to code, but I never really knew how to start. While getting my degree in Health Care Administration, I was required to do two internships with at least 14 hours per week. Achieving this with a full time job in sales and full time school was no easy feat. However, I was granted a lot of freedom at the hospital where I interned and was able to solve a major problem simply by using Visual Basic for Applications and automating some Excel spreadsheets and email notifications. The Hospital saved millions of dollars in unbilled insurance claims while I was got a pat on the back and no salary.

The seed had been planted and I understood the power of automation. I have since then focused on full stack development so that I can bring my ideas to life without the assistance of others. I have dedicated a lot of effort to understanding code at a fundamental level and focusing on maintanability. In 2019 I landed my first job in the blockchain industry at BLOCKSIZE where I eventually created a a new department within the company. Our core product was a smart order router that splits orders across multiple exchanges to optimize price and fill speed. In order to do this, we ingested billions of data points per day to power our algorithms. This data included orderbook data and trade data. I had the idea to use this data to create our own Volume Weighted Average Prices (VWAP) and provide it to smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. I have had the pleasure of working on some amazing projects with amazing companies such as Chainlink to run one of the worlds leading oracles.

Since then I have worked with publicly listed venture capital firms to assist in their research and due diligence of blockchain projects. I have built decentralized applications with NASDAQ listed companies and have touched code on various major blockchain networks such as Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos and others. Since then I started a couple of companies of my own which taught me a lot about entrepreneurship and challenged me to grow as a developer and as a person. Since I was self taught, I spent years learning the importance of maintanability and code readability to the point that I prioritize it over performance. Now I am placing more emphasis on some of the core principles of computer science and web3 development which this website will document.
